Ten charytatywny cel jest połączony z obchodami Międzynarodowego Dnia Szefów Kuchni (ogłoszonego przez WACS – World Association of Chefs Societies, które zrzesza ponad 10 mln członków w 101 państwach). Już czwarty rok z rzędu AKC CR przygotowuje obchody wraz z partnerami oraz wsparciem miasta stołecznego Pragi. W ten sposób wspólnie z kolegami na całym świecie doceniana jest praca i wysiłek szefów kuchni i cukierni. Wszyscy, którzy zdecydują się przyjechać 23 października do Pragi są serdecznie zaproszeni do wspólnego świętowania.

Osoby, które chcą zasmakować czegoś dobrego przyczynią się jednocześnie do szczytnego celu, gdyż  dochód z pracy Stowarzyszenia podczas obchodów święta będzie przeznaczony na cele charytatywne, aby zwiększyć pomoc najuboższym  na świecie.

„Jednym z celów jakie przyświeca Stowarzyszeniu jest zapewnienie pomocy przedsiębiorcom z branży gastronomicznej. Ponadto skupiamy się na zachęcaniu jak największej ilości młodych osób do pracy w tej dziedzinie, jednocześnie starając się przyciągnąć uwagę wszystkich na naszą pracę. AKC CR jest organizacją typu non profit, dlatego też szczególnie doceniamy wsparcie sponsorów i partnerów biznesowych, dzięki którym możemy realizować dodatkowe projekty” – zauważyła  Zuzana Albrechtová,manager organizacji.

The Association of Chefs and Confectioners of the Czech Republic Supports Children from the Children’s Homes

 

For several years, the AKC CR has been liaising with the Livia and Václav Klaus Endowment Fund,providing financial support to the children from children’s homes for the project Start do života (A start into life).

 

This charitable aim is joined by the celebrations of the International Chefs Day (World Association of Chefs Societies, which associates more than 10 million members in 101 countries). For a fourth year already, we have been preparing celebrations in cooperation with our partners and with the kind support of the capital city of Prague, through which we, together with our colleagues all around the world, pay tribute to the work of chefs and confectioners. All those who will arrive at the Old Town Square in Prague on 23rd October are invited to celebrate along with us.

Those who want to taste something good will contribute to a good cause at the same time, because the proceeds generated by our work performed on the celebration day will be donated to charity purposes so that we can extend our help to the impoverished people of the world.



“One of the aims pursued by our Association is also to provide support to the entrepreneurs operating in gastronomy, as well as to make efforts towards attracting as many young people to this industry as possible and, at the same time, to focus the eye of the general public on our work. Our Association is a non-profit organization, which is why we particularly appreciate the support from our sponsors and business partners, who are so making it possible for us to develop additional projects”,observed Zuzana Albrechtová, Association Manager.
