W dniach 22-25 stycznia Polska będzie gościła 32 Prezydentów europejskich Stowarzyszeń i Organizacji Barmańskich, którzy wraz z delegatami przybędą do Warszawy aby przedyskutować wiele nowych propozycji dotyczących rozwoju i zacieśnienia współpracy w ramach europejskiej struktury I.B.A. Dyskusja oprócz problemów natury ogólnej dotyczyć będzie również szczegółowych propozycji dotyczących regulaminów konkursowych oraz zmian dotyczących formuły i formatu rozgrywania Mistrzostw Świata. Gościem honorowym Konferencji będzie p. Derrick Lee – Prezydent I.B.A.
W salach konferencyjnych gościnnego hotelu Mariott Courtyard odbędzie się również multimedialna prezentacja polskich propozycji lokalizacji 60 Kongresu oraz Mistrzostw Świata barmanów w stylu klasycznym i flair w 2011 roku.
Stowarzyszenie Polskich Barmanów otrzymało bowiem propozycję aby w 2011 roku być gospodarzem tego największego na świecie barmańskiego święta. Jest to dowód największego uznania i zaufania którym władze Intrnational Bartenders Association obdarzyły wszystkich członków SPB którzy reprezentując wysoki,europejski poziom umiejętności zawodowych,aktywnie uczestnicząc we wszystkich najważniejszych konkursach i imprezach barmańskich na całym świecie, wysoko dzierżą sztandar "koguciego ogona ".
Jest to również spełnienie marzeń pokolenia wychowanków mistrza Z.T. Nowickiego, który całe swoje życie poświęcił aby polscy barmani byli wzorem dla innych, zarówno pod względem profesjonalnych umiejętności jak również postawy etyczno-moralnej w krzewieniu kultury picia napojów alkoholowych.
Spotkanie elity europejskiego barmaństwa w Warszawie będzie również okazją do zaprezentowania organizacyjnych możliwości SPB. Dzięki naszym partnerom odwiedzimy kila barów i klubów warszawskich, które są doskonałym świadectwem rozwoju kultury koktajlowej w naszym kraju. Wyrażam przekonanie iż warszawskie spotkanie przyjacół reprezentujących całą europejską,barmańską rodzinę na długo pozostanie w pamięci uczestników.

From the 22nd till the 25th of JanuaryPoland will play host to 32 Presidents of European Bartender Societies and Organisations. They will come to Warsaw together with delegates in order to discuss many new ideas concerning the development and tightening of the cooperation within the European structure of I.B.A. Apart from general problems the discussion will also concern detailed suggestions about the rules and regulations of contests and changes of the formula and format of conducting the World Championships. The guest of honor at the Conference will be Mr. Derrick Lee – the President of I.B.A
The meeting halls of Mariott Courtyard hotel will be also the venue of multimedia presentation of Polish suggestions for the location of the 60th Congress and the World Bartenders Championships in the classic and flair style in the year 2011.
The Association of Polish Bartenders (SPB) received namely a proposal to become the host of the biggest bartenders feast in the world in the year 2011. It is a proof of the biggest recognition and trust that was placed by the IBA authorities in all members of SPB that represent a high, European level of professional skills, and take part in all important competitions and bartenders events all over the world.
It is also the fulfilment of dreams of the generation of alumni of the master Z.T Nowicki, who sacrificed all his life so that Polish bartenders were a model for others in respect of professional skills as well as ethical and moral conduct in propagating the culture of drinking alcoholic drinks.
The meeting of the elite of European bartenders in Warsaw will be also an opportunity to present the organizational capabilities of SPB. Thanks to our partners we will visit a number of Warsaw bars and clubs which are the best evidence of the development of the cocktail culture in our country. I am convinced that the Warsaw meeting of friends who represent the whole European bartenders family will remain in the memory of the participants for a long time.
