Ideą tego Festiwalu nie jest reklama Grecji czy zmiana upodobań, lecz ułatwienie dostępu do informacji, wymiana doświadczeń i zachęta do „eksperymentowania” na „polskim stole”. Dlatego też wśród sponsorów i wystawców będzie wiele krajowych jak i międzynarodowych firm które są na rynku i korzystamy z ich usług, propozycji i rozwiązań.
Planowane atrakcje V Festiwalu Kuchni Greckiej:
• Uroczystego otwarcia V Festiwalu Kuchni Greckiej dokona Ambasador Grecji w Polsce
• Swoją obecnością i kunsztem zaszczycą Festiwal przedstawiciele Kapituły Klubu Szefów Kuchni Ateny, którzy wraz z KSK Polska będą gotować z naszymi Gwiazdami „Chief Chefs Show”.
• Festiwal jest również znakomitą okazją do poznania nowych talentów branży gastronomicznej. Młodzi polscy kucharze, pod „fachowym okiem” Klubu Szefów Kuchni będą mogli zaprezentować swoje zdolności w „Konkursie Kulinarnym”, w którym weźmie udział 12-u kucharzy z całej Polski.
Ich zadaniem będzie przygotowanie dania wykorzystując oryginalne greckie produkty. Zwycięzca Festiwalu jest nominowany do udziału w Finałowym Konkursie Kulinarnym Szef Roku 2011organizowanego przez Fundację Klubu Szefów Kuchni oraz do KPP 2010 – Kulinarny Puchar Polski 2010 roku
• Podczas konkursu kulinarnego planujemy pokaz sztuki dekorowania potraw i stołów fantazyjnie rzeźbionymi owocami i warzywami czyli II Polski Festiwal Carvingu. To wspaniała okazja poznania historii pochodzenia tej sztuki.
• V Festiwal Kuchni Greckiej zakończy tradycyjnie znakomita Uroczysta Gala, na której wręczone zostaną nagrody, nominacje i podziękowania

The 5th festival of Greek Cuisine will take place on the 26th of June 2010 in the newly open Hotel Swing **** in Cracow.
The festival is held on an annual basis and its aim is to promote in Poland the traditional Greek cuisine, authentic, regional recipes and products among hoteliers, restaurant owners, chefs and cooks as well as among consumers.
The main idea of the festival is not the promotion of Greece or the change of tastes but the facilitation of access to information, exchange of experience and incentive to “experiment” in “Polish cuisine”. That is why many domestic and international companies which are present on the market will participate in the event and we will make use of their service, offer and solutions.
The planned attractions of the 5th Festival of Greek Cuisine:
• The 5th Festival of Greek Cuisine will be officially opened by the Ambassador of Greece to Poland
• The representatives of the Athens Chef Club Chapter will grace the Festival with their presence and artistry. Together with KSK Poland they will be cooking with our Stars “Chief Chefs Show”.
• The Festival is also a great opportunity to meet new culinary talents. Young Polish cooks, under the watchful eye of Chefs’ Club, will be able to present their skills in the “Culinary Competition”, in which 12 cooks from Poland will take part. Their task will be to prepare dishes using authentic Greek products. The winner of the Festival will be nominated to participate in the Final Culinary Competition Chef of the Year 2011 organized by the Chefs’ Club Foundation, and in KPP 2010 – The Culinary Cup of Poland 2010.
• During the culinary competition we plan a show of the art of decorating dishes and tables with fancifully carved fruits and vegetables – II Carving Festival in Poland. It is a great opportunity to get acquainted with the origins of this art.
• The visitors will have an opportunity to admire picturesque Greek landscapes and authentic portraits of the inhabitants of sunny Hellada, which Kostas Kawardzis will present on his magnificent photographs
• Teo Vafidis will present a wide range of authentic Greek products, which he personally imports on the Polish market, and will offer everybody tasty snacks from sunny Hellada
• Traditionally, the 5th Festival of Greek cuisine will close with an excellent Gala Event. It will be time for giving awards and nominations.
• The day full of entertainment will be crowned by an unique performance of Nikos Rusketos together with the Greek band Orfeusz
• The whole room will be dancing and breaking dishes to the greatest hits.
The festival and competition struggles will be broadcasted by Radio and TV. They will also occur in newspapers and magazines as well as Internet portals in Poland and abroad. We cordially invite you to participate.
