Kim Yoon-OK – Pierwsza Dama Korei honorowym prezesem Daejeon Congress WACS 2012

First Lady Kim Yoon Ok will serve as the honorary president of the WACS 2012 Daejeon Congress.

On May 5 during the 2011 Daejeon International Sommelier Festival, she said in her message read by Daejeon Vice Mayor Park Sang-duk that she gladly accepts the post and will do her best. First Lady has a great interest in promoting the excellence of Korean food. As the honorary president of Korea Food Foundation, she has taken the lead in promoting Korean food to the world.

First Lady Kim will attend and deliver a congratulatory speech at the WACS 2012 Daejeon Congress opening. She is also expected to meet WACS president and attend a few events during the Congress in Daejeon.

About the 35th WACS World Congress Daejeon Korea 1-5 May 2012

The WACS World Congress is a hallmark tradition of WACS that has been organized in over 20 cities across the world throughout its illustrious 84 year history. The 35th WACS World Congress will bring leaders from national chefs associations, culinary industry, and professional chefs together to define their increasing roles and responsibilities as integral part of the global community and share strategic visions to realize them. Concurrently held during the unique 5 day congress are a city familiarization tour, two WACS endorsed global culinary competitions, a number of local culinary competitions, education programs, culinary exhibitions, forums and many exciting cultural and art events. Following the WACS Congress, the 2nd Asia and Oceania Best Sommelier Contest and the ASI (Association de la Sommellerie Internationale) Congress will be held from May 6~10.
