Podczas 9 dni, w tym gastronomicznym wydarzeniu uczestniczyło ponad 22 tys. osób, czyli więcej niż w zeszłym roku (21 tys. 600 osób).

Przedsięwzięcie zostało zorganizowane przez Lizbońską Izbę Turystyki (Associação de Turismo de Lisboa (ATL) ze wsparciem Urzędu Miasta Lizbony. Festiwal odbył się w tamtejszym Pavilhão de Portugal.

To wydarzenie, cieszące się dużą popularnością w Portugalii, tym razem postawiło na międzynarodową promocję. Dlatego w tym roku festiwal odwiedziło wielu zagranicznych szefów kuchni, w tym 6 z Brazylii.

Duże zainteresowanie wzbudził pochodzący z Hiszpanii szef kuchni Joan Roca, współwłaściciel restauracji El Celler de Can Roca, który rok temu otrzymał swoją trzecią gwiazdkę Michelin. Jego restauracja znalazła się na 5 miejscu rankingu 50 najlepszych restauracji świata.

Na terenie Peixe em Lisboa (Lisbon Fish & Flavours) działało 12 restauracji prowadzonych przez znanych szefów kuchni. Serwowano w nich potrawy z ryb i owoców morza.

Uczestnicy wydarzenia mieli okazję uczestniczyć w licznych pokazach i prezentacjach kulinarnych na żywo. Program obejmował również gotowanie z dziećmi, warsztaty doboru wina, degustacje i porady ekspertów.

Peixe em Lisboa (Lisbon Fish & Flavours) odbędzie sie po raz kolejny w kwietniu 2011 roku. Już teraz zarezerwujcie swój czas!

PEIXE EM LISBOA (LISBON FISH & FLAVOURS)

The third edition of Peixe em Lisboa (Lisbon fish & flavours) was held 10-18 th of April.

During the nine days, the gastronomic event recorded a total of 22.100 visitors, which means an increase compared with last year’s edition that had received 21.600 people.

One of the particularities of this edition was the public’s significant affluence on this year program’s activities, especially on the live gastronomic presentations by renowned chefs from Portugal and abroad. Similarly, was obtained a considerable number of tastings, compared to the previous editions, in the restaurants of Lisbon, which were opened permanently during the event.

Whit that, the organization of Peixe em Lisboa (Lisbon Fish & Flavours) is very satisfied with the receptivity of the event. They consider that with this edition has been proved the importance of the event in Portugal, and also the reputation and interest that has been earned internationally on initiatives related to gastronomy.

In 2011, Peixe em Lisboa (Lisbon Fish & Flavours) will once again be held in April. And also will return to the place that hosted the first edition: the Páteo da Galé, on the renovated Terreiro do Paço.

Peixe em Lisboa (Lisbon fish & flavours) is organized by the Tourism Association of Lisbon (Associação de Turismo de Lisboa (ATL), with the support of the City Hall of Lisbon and Tourism of Portugal and produced by Essência do Vinho.
